Rams’ Matthew Stafford shown turning away from fallen photographer at Super Bowl rally

It was a bad look. Rams quarterback Matthew Stafford appeared not to care that a photographer fell off a stage as she was trying to document the team’s Super Bowl rally Wednesday at the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum.

The video of Stafford looking down at the woman, appearing to say “Oh, my God” to his shocked wife, Kelly, walking away and then continuing to drink from a water bottle went viral.

The woman, Kelly Smiley, tweeted Wednesday night that she suffered a fractured spine and her cameras broke. She didn’t say whether the Staffords eventually offered assistance.

Smiley’s Twitter profile says she is a photo editor for the NFL, NBA and NHL. It is not clear whether she was working for the NFL at the rally.

Neither the Staffords nor the Rams had commented on the incident as of early Thursday.

The Rams were celebrating the franchise’s first Super Bowl championship in Los Angeles (they won a Super Bowl in St. Louis in the 1999 season).
