The beat goes on for Ross Chastain.
The driver of the No. 1 Chevrolet picked up his first career Cup Series win last Sunday, when he finished first on the Circuit of the Americas in the EchoPark Automotive Grand Prix. This year, his 156 laps led are second among all drivers behind only Ryan Blaney and his four top-five finishes are the most among any driver.
If he’s going to keep it rolling on Sunday, he’ll have to do so in a race that has seen plenty of turnover in recent years in the Toyota Owners 400 at the Richmond Raceway.
The current field in the Toyota Owners 400 will feature only two drivers that have won the race multiple times. Joey Logano is the most recent driver to pick up his second win, when he won the race in 2017 to add to his 2014 victory. No one in the field has won more than Kyle Busch, who won four straight from 2009 to 2012 and then won again in 2018. With a win, Busch would tie Richard Petty for the most Cup Series wins in Richmond.

Fox will continue its coverage of the 2022 NASCAR Cup Series season with the broadcast of the Toyota Owners 400 at Richmond Raceway in Richmond, Va.
Mike Joy will call the lap-by-lap action. Clint Bowyer, Chad Knaus and Larry McReynolds will provide analysis. Fox is using a rotating set of analysts to replace Jeff Gordon, who is now an executive at Hendrick Motorsports.
