The semifinals of the UEFA Women’s Champions League are set to begin with a pair of mouthwatering matchups for fans to enjoy.

First up is a loaded Barcelona Femini squad that features stars Alexia Putellas and Jennifer Hermoso taking on a historically great Wolfsburg Women’s side that includes multiple German internationals such as Sara Doorsoun, Tabea Wassmuth, and captain Alexandra Popp.

Barcelona star Lieke Martens will not take part, as her injury-battered campaign continues to melt away thanks to a hamstring problem, but the white-hot Putellas has carried the team to the semifinals, with three goals in the two-leg quarterfinal victory over Real Madrid.

Then, on Sunday, a star-studded Lyon Feminin squad matches up against bitter French rivals PSG Feminine. Multiple French international stars line up on both sides of the pitch in that match, including Wendie Renard, Amadine Henry, Kadidiatou Diani, and Grace Geyoro. U.S. internationals Catarina Macario and Lindsey Horan will also take the field, both for Lyon.

Macario and Ada Hegerberg both scored key goals in the two quarterfinal wins over Juventus to lead Lyon into the last four in comeback fashion, while Swiss international Ramona Bachmann’s 112th minute goal in the second leg gave PSG the thrilling victory over Bayern Munich in the previous round.
