Draco Anthony Was Hurt By His WWE Release

By | May 1, 2022

Draco Anthony, much like everyone else before him, had dreams of making it big in the WWE. The upstart found his opportunity last year, but little did he know that he’d be shown his way out the door within months.

Draco Anthony was one of the 10 wrestlers who were released from their NXT contracts Friday, April 29th. The NXT 2.0 star took to Twitter and revealed that he was hurt, but will be fine.

That one hurt. But eventually I’ll be ok. Thanks to every1 reaching out, I just don’t know what words to say to be honest. Thankful and grateful for the opportunity 🙏🏾. Enjoy the weekend

The former U.S. Marine trained under WWE Hall of Famer Booker T. Draco Anthony made his in-ring debut against Roderick Strong on the November 12th, 2021, episode of 205 Live.

Anthony, whose real name is Reginald Chase Crews, had his last match on the April 12th episode of NXT 2.0 where he lost to Xyon Quinn. We’ll have to wait and see what’s next for him.
