Dragon Ball’s Kamehameha Might Be Fortnite’s Most Meme-Worthy Addition of All Time

By | August 17, 2022

Fortnite’s latest update added Dragon Ball’s Kamehameha, and it’s absolutely everywhere. Goku’s signature finishing move has been added to Fortnite along with plenty of other Dragon Ball goodies, including the Nimbus Cloud and a load of incredible, cel-shaded skins.

But honestly, the Kamehameha is all anyone cares about… and for good reason.

Nope, you weren’t seeing things – that’s an entire squad unloading FOUR Kamehamehas onto their poor, unsuspecting victim to clinch the win in spectacular fashion. And with Goku’s move absolutely everywhere right now, you’ll be seeing plenty of moments like that in Fortnite for a while.

The Dragon Ball update adds a ton of new quests, allowing you to power up your ki with new emotes or even collect all 7 Dragon Balls for a cool Shenron glider.

But the new mythic item Kamehameha is what everyone wants.

I mean, just look at it. Even LeBron James is getting in on the action, taking down John Wick with lethal efficiency. Who knew LeBron was a Super Saiyan? Mixing and matching different styles has always been part of the fun of Fortnite, and now everyone is getting in on the new Dragon Ball fun.

My very own Ant-Man has even racked up a few kills with the Kamehameha himself.

The update has already gone down incredibly well, with the Kamehameha proving to be a fun new addition even if you’re not that into Dragon Ball. Expect an evening of Goku quotes and Kamehamehas at every opportunity.

And honestly, it’s going to be a lot of fun.

Ever wanted to see Star Wars villain Darth Vader do a Kamehameha? No, me neither… but once you’ve seen it, you’ll wonder why it never crossed your mind.

The Kamehameha is already seeing a lot of use, and it’s just about the most fun you have in Fortnite right now. Just don’t get salty if you lose to one okay?
