F1 qualifying live: Battle for pole position at the 2023 Saudi Arabian Grand Prix

By | March 18, 2023

After taking the chequered flag in style in Bahrain during the opening race of the 2023 F1 season, Red Bull’s Max Verstappen will be hoping for yet more success as the action moves west this weekend.

This time around, we’re in Saudi Arabia at the Jeddah Street Circuit, a track where Verstappen also won in 2022.

But his World Drivers’ Championship rivals will be keen to deny him this weekend, starting with qualifying around this fast yet tight circuit which could prove troublesome for some drivers.

Ferrari’s Charles Leclerc will be particularly eager to impress after his season got off to a dreadful start with a DNF finish in Bahrain two weeks ago, though he’s already received a ten-place grid penalty for this Sunday’s race after taking new engine parts.
