Two of the bottom three teams in the Premier League will be facing off in a desperate relegation clash when Leicester City welcome Everton at the King Power Stadium with the winner momentarily set to escape the drop zone.

Leicester (29 points) have one more point than Everton (28 points) and will be playing at home on Monday, giving them the slight edge in the race to avoid the trap door to the second-tier Championship. Everton have won just a single road game all season (back in October at last-place Southampton), but the Foxes have the second-worst home record in the league. 

Everton are winless in six (three draws), while Leicester have just one win in their last 11 league matches. There will only be four games remaining after Monday’s clash and the run-in for both teams will be challenging with each facing two opponents inside the top 10.

FiveThirtyEight projects Everton as one of the three clubs most likely to be relegated (67 percent chance), while Leicester are given a better chance to survive (24 percent chance of relegation) though that could be flipped depending on Monday’s result.

Luke Thomas is in at left-back in place of Victor Kristiansen, who’s on the bench, and Wilfred Ndidi starts as Tete takes his place among the subs. Defenders Jonny Evans, Ryan Bertrand and James Justin continue to be unavailable.
