By | July 3, 2023

Venus Williams has been a tennis great for almost three decades.

Coached by her parents, Oracene Price and Richard Williams, as a child, Williams has won 49 singles titles — seven of them majors — and 21 doubles titles — 14 of them majors. She and her sister Serena are undefeated in Grand Slam women’s doubles finals.

Venus has also won four Olympic gold medals: one for singles and one for doubles in Sydney 2000, one for doubles in Beijing 2008, and one for doubles in London 2012. She also took home a silver medal in mixed doubles in Rio de Janeiro 2016.

She also has the most titles and finals appearances (83) among active players.

Williams has won Wimbledon singles five times, but at 43, the legend is facing an uphill battle to earn a sixth. She is ranked 554th in the world.

But last month she defied the odds at the Rothesay against Camila Giorgi and appears capable of doing it again in London.

Below is everything you need to keep track of Venus Williams’ time at Wimbledon in 2023, including a guide to watching her matches live and score updates.

When is Venus Williams’ next match at Wimbledon 2023?

Williams’ stay in the Wimbledon singles draw was brief. The veteran got a tough matchup against former world No. 3 Elina Svitolina in the opening round and succumbed quickly.

Williams could still end up in the mixed doubles draw, which will be unveiled Wednesday, but it’s unclear what her plans are.
