Salt Lake City NBA Summer League updated bracket, standings, results in 2023

By | July 6, 2023

As the NBA offseason marches on, Summer League action will tip off on Monday, July 3.

Before all 30 teams head to Las Vegas for the main event, there will be exhibition games held in Sacramento and Salt Lake City. The Utah league will feature four teams from around the NBA: the Jazz, Grizzlies, Thunder and 76ers.

The event will give us a chance to see talented young prospects showcase their skills as they try to prove they have what it takes to make it in the world’s most competitive basketball league.

One of the biggest summer stories will be Oklahoma City’s Chet Holmgren. The big man out of Gonzaga starred at last year’s event, finishing with 23 points, seven rebounds and six blocks against the Jazz in his Summer League debut.

However, he missed the entire 2022-23 NBA season because of a Lisfranc injury. He has been added to the Thunder’s Summer League roster this year, so we should finally see him make his return to the floor.
