However, off-field issues have plagued the tournament for a while, starting from the constant schedule changes due to various reasons. One of the more recent issues has been the lack of tickets for fans. When attempting to book tickets fo matches online, fans have been left waiting for close to 5-6 hours before not even getting tickets.
On Monday, former India fast bowler Venkatesh Prasad took to Twitter to express his thoughts.

Prasad took to Twitter to post his thoughts, saying that the ticket booking process “could have been better planned” and that he hopes the BCCI “makes it easier for the fans”.

Due to the difficulty in booking tickets, several fans have also taken to social media and accused the BCCI of making less than 10,000 seats available to book at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad, which has a capacity of over 100,000.
Prasad wrote on this as well, saying “It will be more fulfilling if the diehard fan is kept happy and not deprived of this opportunity instead of reserving a large chunk for corporates and members”.
