Capcom quietly revealed how much Resident Evil 4 Remake for iPhone 15 Pro will cost, with the mobile-centric version retailing for $60.
On the App Store page, Resident Evil 4’s pricing is tucked away under the “In-App Purchases” section on the game’s product listing page. A drop-down showcasing all the in-app purchases appears, with the top of the one including the base game retailing for $59.99, as you can see from the screenshot below, along with prices for other in-app purchases available for the game.
Resident Evil 4 Remake, costing $60, aligns with the debut price for the PC and console versions when it was released earlier this year. Apple has previously touted that the iPhone 15 Pro is a smartphone capable of console-quality video games thanks to the device’s A17 Pro chip.
Fortunately, Resident Evil 4 will support universal purchase. That means if you buy the game for your iPhone 15 Pro, but you also own an iPad and/or Mac that is equipped with an M1 chip or newer, you can play across all three of those devices without having to double dip.
As you can see from the screenshots below, one of the images from the upcoming port of Resident Evil 4 includes support for touch controls. While this control layout is supported, Capcom notes on the game’s App Store listing that it is recommended that players use a controller, like the Backbone, “for the best experience.”
Resident Evil 4 for iPhone 15 Pro does not have a release date yet, but Capcom says it will be out later this year. In addition to Resident Evil 4, Capcom announced yesterday that the iPhone 15 Pro version of Resident Evil Village will be released on Oct. 30 for $39.99.
