Arsenal continue their push on multiple fronts this season as they contest an all-Premier League battle in the Carabao Cup fourth round against cross-city opponents West Ham.

When West Ham pick up a result against Arsenal in recent years, it usually comes via a high-scoring match, picking up 2-2, 3-3, and 3-3 draws all since 2016.
The Hammers have been porous at the back in the league this season, and while it seems they’ve put a stopper in their defensive sieve from earlier in the season, it will be tough to stop an Arsenal side packed with attacking talent. They’ll have to find goals to keep up.

These are the matches in which Nketiah has thrived in as a backup to Jesus over the past two seasons. In the 2021/22 campaign, Nketiah scored five goals in five EFL Cup matches, and last year he bagged a goal in his only EFL Cup appearance.
The 24-year-old has been excellent this year, bagging five goals on just 3.40 xG in Premier League action, proving he is an extremely capable understudy to the main Arsenal striker. Regardless of who Arteta deploys in support, there should be plenty of talent around Nketiah to provide him service, and against a defensively leaky West Ham, there will be chances.
