AC Milan are fighting for their Champions League lives as they host Kylian Mbappe and Paris Saint-Germain at the San Siro on Tuesday.
The Italians sit bottom of Group F at the midway point, without a victory from three games so far. They managed to secure a pair of draws to begin the group stage, but a humbling 3-0 defeat in the French capital has put their knockout stage credentials in serious jeopardy.
PSG, meanwhile, are top of the group on six points, and a win here could see them all but confirm a place in the knockout rounds.
Milan have yet to score a single goal in Champions League action to this point, and were blanked on the weekend against Udinese – which dropped them six points back of the Serie A leaders, city rivals Inter. PSG, meanwhile, are in good form heading into this match, on a five-game winning streak since their heavy defeat to Newcastle in early October.

AC Milan vs PSG projected lineups & team news
AC Milan are beset by a host of injuries that could affect Stefano Pioli’s selection for this gargantuan match. Pierre Kalulu, Mattia Caldara, and Ismael Bennacer are all out for months, while Simon Kjaer and Rade Krunic are both struggling with knocks and must pass fit to play a role here.
Those absences leave Milan’s defensive unit extremely thin, forcing Malik Thiaw into regular action along the backline, while 18-year-old Serbian youth international Jan-Carlo Simic now becomes a backup option off the bench.
The good news is that while both Christian Pulisic and Lucas Hernandez missed the weekend’s defeat to Udinese, Pioli called both their absences a “precaution” and reports indicate they could both be available to start this match.
AC Milan projected starting lineup (4-3-3): Maignan (GK) — Calabria, Tomori, Thiaw, L. Hernandez — Musah, Krunic, Reijnders — Pulisic, Giroud, Leao.
Injuries for PSG to deal with include absences for Presnel Kimpembe, Nuno Mendes, and Marco Asensio. Backup goalkeepers Sergio Rico and Keylor Navas are both missing as well, meaning Gianluigi Donnarumma will be supported by former Barcelona understudy Arnau Tenas.
PSG boss Luis Enrique has yet to really get either striker Goncalo Ramos or Randal Kolo Muani into form up front. Kolo Muani scored in the reverse fixture of this Champions League match, but has otherwise not found the net since early August, while Ramos has struggled even more.
It’s unclear who will get the nod, because while Kolo Muani has taken over the starting spot for now, he started on the weekend and thus could be rotated for the Portuguese international here.
PSG projected starting lineup (4-3-3): Donnarumma (GK) — Hakimi, Skriniar, Marquinhos, Mukiele — Vitinha, Ugarte, Zaire-Emery — Dembele, Kolo Muani, Mbappe.
AC Milan vs PSG betting odds & lines
Home advantage has given AC Milan a significant boost in the betting market, which is confusing given their recent form and result in the reverse fixture.
With an injury-riddled AC Milan struggling to score goals and PSG in fine form, there’s no reason why the French side cannot put one foot in the knockout stage with a positive result.
Prediction: AC Milan 0-2 PSG
