Deion Sanders and Shedeur Sanders have driven the hype bus in Colorado this season. It’s where they’ve parked that’s a bit of a problem.
Shedeur Sanders’ Rolls-Royce was booted by Colorado campus police, according to a video originally posted by the team’s sports information director. He joins his dad, and several other Colorado players, who have now had their cars ticketed, towed or booted by campus police.

A breakout 4-5 season so far by the Buffaloes that began with a win against reigning title game runner-up TCU has been one of the biggest stories of the college football season, both given how the Buffaloes went 1-11 last year and how Deion Sanders almost completely built up the team in the offseason through a historic use of the transfer portal. Despite a bit of a drop off in Pac-12 play, Colorado and the Sanders’ father-son duo have still captivated the college football world.
But their ascension hasn’t kept them from getting penalized by campus police for their parking habits. How does this keep happening? Here’s what you need to know.
Sheduer Sanders adds to Colorado parking tickets pile
Shedeur Sanders’ Rolls is the latest car to be ticketed by campus police. According to Buffs Beat, this has been an ongoing problem since the summer.
During the summer, there were at least eight players that had their cars towed for reportedly parking near the team’s practice bubble, costing players several hundred dollars to get their cars back, per Buffs Beat. Defensive back Cam’Ron Silmon-Craig showed on social media receipts equaling more than $3,000 for over 52 parking violations from the City of Boulder. Travis Hunter has also voiced his frustration over the parking, as did Deion Sanders Jr., per Buffs Beat.
“It seems to be an ongoing problem on campus that needs to be fixed. We’ve had cars getting towed for parking near Folsom Field,” an anonymous player told Buffs Beat.
And it hasn’t just been the players. Deion Sanders’ Lamborghini was also ticketed before Colorado played Oregon.

Shedeur Sanders Rolls-Royce
Shedeur Sanders is one of the most famous athletes in college sports, and has capitalized on the name, image and likeness (NIL) earnings in college football. According to On3, only USC men’s basketball guard Bronny James (son of LeBron James) has a higher NIL valuation than Sanders’ $4.6 million.
And clearly Shedeur Sanders has a nice taste in cars. During an interview on the “Let’s Go” podcast with Tom Brady, the quarterback had to correct his dad, who called his son’s car a Rolls-Royce Phantom. It’s actually a Rolls-Royce Cullinan, per Shedeur Sanders.

According to Car and Driver, a 2024 Rolls-Royce Cullinan starts at $391,750.
Deion Sanders car
Shedeur Sanders is following in his dad’s footsteps when it comes to a fancy car. Deion Sanders is a bit of a car collector, but it was his Lamborghini that wound up with the parking ticket.
Based on the video, it appears Sanders drives a Lamborghini Urus, the Italian carmaker’s top SUV. Per Car and Driver, a 2024 Urus goes for $237,848.
