Sandeep Reddy Vanga’s latest film, Animal, has left everyone on the edge of their seats, be it for good or bad reasons. The film takes its viewers on a journey about familial revenge through gruesome violence. Ranbir Kapoor’s recent highest-earning film reportedly left the ending open-ended, as suggested by the post-credit scene.

The film ends by introducing a new character, Aziz, who is the clone of Ranvijay Balbir Singh (Ranbir Kapoor’s character). The clone, Aziz, is hinted as the next villain in the upcoming sequel titled Animal Park.

One of the viewers shared a sneak peek of the post-credit scene:

Animal: What role does Tripti Dimri play in Ranbir Kapoor’s latest movie?

Among the stellar cast of Animal, Tripti Dimri emerges as one of the integral part of an important plot twist. She is one of the reasons behind Abrar Haque’s death. But before disclosing how did that happen, let’s dive into what led to the brutal death.

The central theme of Animal revolves around the strained relationship between Balbir Singh (Anil Kapoor) and his son, Ranvijay. Consumed by the pursuit of success with his company, Swastik Steel, Balbir unconsciously loses touch with the emotional needs of his son. Moreover, Ranvijay’s attempts to seek validation are met with contempt.

But that’s not all, he takes it upon himself as a kid to safeguard his family in his father’s absence. The way of doing so in a violent way is met with extreme disgust and scrutiny. One of the instances of this is when he brought a gun into his sister’s college to warn her bullies.

After a series of events involving Ranvijay acting badly toward Varun, who is the husband of his elder sister and also an integral part of Swastik Steels, he promises to his father to leave him alone. He also introduces his to-be wife, Geethanjali (Rashmika Mandanna), before leaving the family.

After a brief while, an unexpected twist comes, which changes the arc of the whole movie. Balbir Singh is shot twice by an unknown assailant. Ranvijay returns home to his wife and two children, but as soon as he sees his father, he makes it his mission to find the assailant and kill him.

Soon after, he discovers that Varun is part of a larger conspiracy orchestrated by him. The first act of revenge in Animal is killing Varun in cold blood.

Did Ranvijay kill Abrar Haque?

The cat-and-mouse chase soon ensues. He brutally kills one of the Haque brothers before discovering his relationship with them.

The Haque brothers, who are relatives with a long-standing family feud, seek revenge against Balbir Singh. Their grandfather’s expulsion from the family business fuels their animosity. Another reason is Abrar Haque’s grandfather torching himself to death in front of his eyes. From that day onwards, Abrar (Bobby Deol) became mute and takes an oath to make Balbir Singh suffer and writhe in pain.

One of the ways to do so is to make a clone of his son, aka Ranvijay. Tripti Dimri’s mole character discloses to Ranvijay that Abrar was making a clone to make Balbir and his family get killed in the most brutal ways possible. Thus, when they get killed, they will be seeing their most loved one doing so.

Upon hearing this, Ranvijay finds Abrar Haque and kills him in a bare hand combat. However, that’s not the ending. As the post-credit scene rolls in, viewers get to see Aziz, the aforementioned clone, who goes on to kill Ranvijay’s two close security personnel.
