Tyreek Hill is reportedly facing a lawsuit from Instagram model Sophie Hall, who claims the Dolphins star broke her leg during a football drill at his mansion in Florida.

Hall, who has more than 2 million followers on Instagram, was invited to Hill’s home in June 2023 and took part in a few football drills after watching Hill train in his backyard, per a copy of the lawsuit obtained by the Daily Mail.

She claims in the lawsuit that Hill was “humiliated” and “angry” after she knocked the 29-year-old wide receiver back in a few drills, which caused him to retaliate.

Here’s what we know about the situation so far.

Instagram model claims Tyreek Hill broke her leg in football drill

The lawsuit, a copy of which was published by the Daily Mail, states that Hill flew Hall to Florida last June and invited her to “hang” at his $7 million mansion outside of Miami.

“Defendant Hill invited Ms. Hall to participate in offensive drills with him,” the complaint reads. “Defendant Hill told her that ‘since her 10-year-old son played offensive lineman, she should practice that position as well,” and the two took part in some playful offensive line drills.

The impromptu football practice started out as playful, per the lawsuit. Hall knocked Hill backward in front of his friends and family during what the document refers to as a “friendly football lesson.”

The lawsuit claims Hill became “enraged” as the drills continued and “forcefully and purposefully shoved Ms. Hall, severely fracturing her leg,” leaving her in “excruciating pain.”

The lawsuit contains pictures of her X-rays and screenshots of Hill’s DMs to the Instagram model. Hall also posted a video of herself in a wheelchair and cast last July, a few weeks after the alleged incident.

Tyreek Hill’s timeline of trouble

This is far from Hill’s first instance of legal trouble.

In Dec. 2014, Hill was arrested on domestic violence charges, and he was dismissed from Oklahoma State University’s football and track teams as a result.

In March 2019, Hill was under police investigation for battery involving his 3-year-old son, who had suffered a broken arm. He was suspended indefinitely by the Chiefs, but he did not miss any games since the incident happened in the offseason.

In June 2019, prosecutors said “the child abuse probe involving Hill was ‘no longer an active investigation,” and the NFL declared Hill would not be suspended as a result of the league’s investigation.
