While the college basketball season is winding down, Caitlin Clark is only heating up. Her scoring record journey is the talk of the season, and it’s not going anywhere anytime soon. Regardless, Clark has another goal for her senior season – a national championship. The road begins with Iowa’s final regular season opponent, Ohio State.
The Buckeyes handed the Hawkeyes their first conference loss of the season in a 100-92 overtime game in Columbus in January. This time, though, the sixth-ranked Hawkeyes will host the No. 2 team in the nation for the final bragging rights. That is, until Big Ten Tournament time.
The Buckeyes already clinched the top seed for the tournament as well as a share of the regular season Big Ten title. Iowa will finish in the top four of the regular season, earning it a bye in the tournament, but the ultimate title holder won’t be determined until March 10 in Minneapolis.
For now, we’ll see what Clark has up her sleeve for Iowa’s Senior Day, which could be one of her final games at Carver-Hawkeye Arena.

10 a.m.: Caitlin Clark has continuously stated how Maya Moore was her first basketball hero. So how fitting is it that on her senior day, as well as the day where she likely makes more NCAA history as college’s all-time leading scorer, she is greeted by Moore before the action.
caitlin clark has always said maya moore is her favorite player of all-time so this is pretty freaking cool before senior day
