Paris Saint-Germain trail by a goal as they head into the second leg of their UEFA Champions League semifinal against Borussia Dortmund.
Niclas Fullkrug’s super strike gave Dortmund a 1-0 victory in the first leg but Luis Enrique’s side conceded the first goal in both games of their quarterfinal triumph over Barcelona and still managed to progress.
Kylian Mbappe will need a much-improved performance if his side are to reach the final in London in a few weeks’ time as he was pocketed by Chelsea loanee Ian Maatsen at Signal Iduna Park.
For Dortmund, Manchester United castoff Jadon Sancho completed 13 successful dribbles as he tormented Nuno Mendes in the first leg. That’s the most of any player in the Champions League this season, and he was unlucky not to come away with an assist.
The winner of this tie will face Real Madrid or Bayern Munich at the final at Wembley Stadium.
