Where Las Vegas Raiders’ UDFA class ranks among rest of NFL

By | May 8, 2024

It’s different strokes for different folks, and that’s the case when it comes to the views of experts with the Las Vegas Raiders‘ 2024 undrafted free agent class.

Last month, we wrote a story about how the Raiders’ undrafted free agent class was one of the highest-ranked in the league based on a consensus board of expert rankings compiled by by Arif Hasan of Wide Left. Las Vegas came in fourth on that list.

But Thor Nystrom of Fantasy Pros has a different opinion. He ranks the Raiders’ UDFA class as the No. 18 unit in the NFL. He named offensive lineman Andrew Coker, cornerback Ja’Quan Sheppard and quarterback Carter Bradley and wide receiver Lideatrick “Tulu” Griffin as UDFAs to watch.

The Raiders went with the spray-the-board UDFA strategy, with no draftable-grade signings on my board, but 10 prospects on my pre-draft top-500. WR Tulu Griffin is an outstanding kicker returner who led the FBS with 32.3 yard average in 2022. He’s been clocked at 22 mph on the GPS.

Our Dharya Sharma listed his three Raiders UDFAs with the best chance to make the roster, and among them were Coker, Sheppard and Griffin. You can check out what he had to say about all three right here
