Stephen Nedoroscik became an American hero when he helped deliver USA men’s gymnastics its first medal in 16 years in the team all-around. He anchored the final event, the pommel horse, to secure the bronze.
Now, “pommel horse guy” is going for his second medal of the 2024 Paris Games in the event final.
Nedoroscik is one of just three Americans to qualify for individual finals in the 2024 Games. Paul Juda and Fred Richard headed to the all-around, finishing 14th and 15th, respectively, while Nedoroscik is favored to make the pommel horse podium.
He scored a 15.200 in qualifications, the second-best among the athletes. He’ll need to put up another score like that to remain in medal contention.
Until it’s his turn, Nedoroscik will sit back, relax and maybe solve a Rubik’s Cube or two before it’s his time to shine.

11:47 a.m. – Kurbanov starts it off with a huge 15.433.
11:44 a.m. – Nedoroscik breaks out the “pommel dance” as he waits for his turn to compete.
11:26 a.m. – Women’s vault finals is complete. It’s just a matter of time until the best eight gymnasts attack the pommel horse in the men’s finals.
10:10 a.m. – Nedoroscik will be up fifth on the pommel horse. Reignng gold medalist Max Whitlock of Great Britain will compete second.

How to watch Olympic gymnastics in USA

Because NBC owns the broadcasting rights to the Olympics, events will be shown channels under the network. The Olympic men’s gymnastics pommel horse finals will be aired on E! beginning at 11:16 a.m. ET.
Cord-cutters can stream the competition on Fubo, which offers a free trial and provides access to all NBC networks. Peacock can also be used to watch Olympic gymnastics.
