New Bills QB relives the massive pro-wrestling style hit he took in Buffalo

By | August 28, 2024

The Buffalo Bills signed free agent quarterback Mike White, who was released by Buffalo’s division-rivals, the Miami Dolphins.

White, of course, was on the receiving end of a spear from Matt Milano back in 2022 that would make Adam Copeland and Roman Reigns blush if they saw it. White took another hit in the game, as well that made fans cringe, yet he somehow finished the game and went to the hospital right after

White went viral for his toughness, or perhaps his stubbornness, to take such hits and still finish the game, and he was asked about the pair of hits he took two seasons ago.

“When I go out to Highmark [Stadium] I’m sure there’s going to be a piece of my rib on the 30-yard line,” White said.

White also added that he received a text from Josh Allen of the eyeball emoji when he signed with the Bills.

“Seeing this place from afar, I thought it was a good opportunity,” White said.

White has a good chance to be the team’s primary backup in Week 1 against the Arizona Cardinals with Mitch Trubisky still dealing with a leg injury.
