Nicki Minaj and Jay-Z beef rumors explained

Recently, the organizers of the Super Bowl LIX: The NFL, Apple Music, and Roc Nation confirmed that Kendrick Lamar will headline the Super Bowl halftime show in 2025. Following this, Nicki Minaj expressed disappointment with Jay Z and Roc Nation for not picking Lil Wayne for the New Orleans event.

On Monday, Minaj took to X (formerly Twitter) to take a shot at Jay Z. In one of a series of posts, she wrote, “Go & enjoy your fkng money b4 it’s too late … One n—a took a knee The other n—a took the bag. He gon get you ‘n—-s’ in line every fkng time.” Minaj further said that despite having everything in this world, Jay Z remained “evil” and “disgusting.”

Ahead of criticizing Jay Z’s laugh, the singer claimed how the support of politicians and law enforcement puts him in a favorable condition in music industry. “Go be fkng happy n!gg@!!!!!!!! In rap business. In women business. When you got the Politicians & the police you good tho. Plus dat ugly laughy taffy alien … LMFAOOOOOOOOOOOO,” Minaj continued in another post.

Going ahead with her criticism, Nicki Minaj even accused Jay Z of snubbing Lil Wayne from the Super Bowl due to his ego and hatred for her, Drake, and BIRDMAN. Additionally, she couldn’t believe how he didn’t favor a New Orleans native, Wayne, to take center stage at the event.

However, this doesn’t mean that Minaj holds any grudges with Kendrick Lamar, who will perform on February 9 in New Orleans. In her other tweets, she has openly expressed her love and support for the “Like That” singer. “Even Kendrick loves & respects Wayne. Every real rapper loves & respects Wayne,” she wrote in yet another post. Nicki Minaj only wanted Lil Wayne to be included, as he has been an inspiration to many. She also feels he has changed the “face of Hip Hop.”
