Updated Fantasy Football Standard, Non-PPR TE Rankings 2025: Top 50 cheat sheet for drafts

By | August 27, 2025

When it comes to your average fantasy football league, the way to attack the tight end position has rarely changed.

For seven consecutive years, Travis Kelce was the TE1 overall. During this time, the adage was if you don’t draft Kelce or George Kittle, wait until the end.

This is still the case in 2025, but with different names and the value later is actually better.

Draft Brock Bowers, Trey McBride, or Kittle, and if you don’t get them or want them, wait until much later.

While drafting Bowers and McBride is extremely safe, it’s still an expensive price to pay. You are missing out on other high value skill position players for the potential positional advantage.

There is no judgment if you don’t to spend such a high pick on these guys, but then don’t fall for the big named, mid-round TEs.

Drafting players such as David Njoku or Tucker Kraft after the well-known names such as Kelce or Mark Andrews is the best way to go about the position.

Kelce is going 42 picks before Kraft despite Kraft finishing higher than Kelce at the TE position in 2024 standard leagues.

Non-PPR TE Rankings for 2025 drafts

8/27 Updates

  • Tyler Warren should be a top 10 TE. Having him at TE11 feels more conservative, but he’s going to be used…a lot.
  • Brenton Strange continues to be undervalued; he’s going to be a viable TE option all season long.
