Hulu’s new TV and movie releases for September 1-7, 2025, include the films The New Boy and Sacramento.
Tuesday, September 2, 2025, brings The New Boy to Hulu. This drama movie, starring Cate Blanchett and Aswan Reid, follows a nine-year-old Aboriginal orphan who suddenly finds himself at a remote monastery one night. This monastery is run by a disgraced nun, and the boy’s presence eventually starts complicating things for the monastery’s residents.
Next, Friday, September 5, 2025, sees Sacramento drop on Hulu. The story follows Rickey, a free-spirited individual, and Glenn, a soon-to-be father, who spontaneously go on a road trip from Los Angeles to Sacramento.
Also dropping on Hulu this week is the film Hannah Montana: The Movie.
Hannah Montana: The Movie sees Miley Stewart/Hannah Montana trade the glamorous and loud celebrity lifestyle in Hollywood for a more peaceful and simple one at a family farm in Tennessee.
