The iconic Sports Illustrated swimsuit issue has become known for its sexy (but not-too-sexy) bikini editorials. But every once in a while it ends up with beautiful photos that come just close enough to the edge that it adds its own “adult content” warning.
The brand did just that for a recent share to X (formerly Twitter), starring up-for-anything stunner Hailey Clauson.
“Bikinis in a blizzard?” SI Swim captioned the Wednesday, September 24 post. “Only Hailey Clauson could make it look this effortless. Here’s a look back at her 2018 SI Swimsuit shoot in Finland.”
Because of the adult designation, the post doesn’t allow embeds, but the caption also links to the full 54-image photo spread on Sports Illustrated Swimsuit.
The photo in question? In the stunning image, Clauson forgoes any swimwear, kneeling only on a strategically-held blanket. The fluffy, snug-able comforter is the only wardrobe credit (BeCozi).
Half of the photos — including the ones with the comfy blanket — on her unforgettable spread were taken by Walter Chin in Finland. The native Californian hits the snow in a series of barely-there swimsuits, even tossing inhibitions to model a few see-through looks (and often wearing only bikini bottoms). She also rocks big furry boots for a nighttime shot in a shiny, metallic bikini and to ride a sled (also in a bikini) with a friend.
For the second half of the photos, she heats things up with photographer James Macari in Indonesia’s Suma Island.
