Per ESPN’s Shams Charania, the Warriors have finally inked a deal with one of their two rookie second-round draft picks, former Florida shooting guard Will Richard. The 6-foot-4 swingman was selected with the No. 56 pick in June’s 2025 NBA Draft.
The Warriors reach agreements Sunday with three free agents and one of their draft picks ahead of Wednesday’s qualifying offer deadline for restricted free agent Jonathan Kuminga. A critical decision looms this week. https://t.co/hR5jfl0Pdb

Richard’s agents at Excel Sports Management, Jared Mucha and Marcus Monk, have informed Charania that Richard is being brought in via a four-year deal, unusually lengthy for a late second-round pick. The first two seasons of the agreement are fully guaranteed, as the Warriors look to build out cheap roster depth with developmental pieces.
