MIAMI, Fla. — Jake Paul will enter the Kaseya Center as a massive underdog against Anthony Joshua. Can the YouTuber-turned-boxer defy the literal and figurative odds on December 19, or will Paul suffer the same fate as Francis Ngannou when he fought Joshua?

The fight on Netflix was booked after a planned Paul-Gervonta Davis fight got nixed following recent domestic allegations against Davis. Paul goes from a smaller fighter to a massive one.

Joshua (28-4) is a former two-time unified heavyweight champion. The Brit is coming off a knockout loss against Daniel Dubois. Per those in his home country, the fight could affect his standing in boxing, even after all he’s accomplished. Cool, calm, and collected, he’s ready to block out the noise.

Paul (12-1) brought in record viewing numbers against Mike Tyson last November and is attempting to do it again, all while trying to beat one of the most decorated champions in heavyweight history.

Also on the card, Alycia Baumgardner, Caroline Dubois, Cjerneka Johnson, and Yokasta Valle all defend their titles. Meanwhile, former Paul opponents collide when Anderson Silva faces Tyron Woodley.

Round twelve: Alycia with jabs. She got forced into the ropes Alycia pushed her back with a few jabs. Beaudoin landed combinations. Alycia rocked Beaudoin. Beaudoin with shots to the face. Alycia with strikes to the face. She almost knocked Beaudoin out. Alycia won via unanimous decision

Round two: Woodley tried to score a knockout win. Silva with an uppercut and a hook and Woodley is down. The fight is over after it was thought he could continue.  

Round one: Woodley went for a jab early. He connected with s small hook. Silva tried his classic Matrix defense.

Quick Jahmal Harvey beats Kevin Cervantes in impressive showcase

Round six: Harvey got some gas back in the tank, landing uppercuts and jabs. He felt confident, landing hard uppercuts from the clinch. Harvey looked efficient. He won via unanimous decision.

Round five: Harvey landed several jabs. He started to look tired but was still offering more than Cervantes. Meanwhile, Cervantes didn’t provide any offensive value in the round.

Round four: Harvey with additional hooks to hurt Cervantes. Harvey with jabs. He landed a hook. Cervantes managed to find some solid defense later in the fight. It was brief.

Cherneka Johnson retains bantamweight gold against game Amanda Galle

Round ten: Galle went for the knockout, but Johnson did not let it get to her. She landed several uppercuts. Jabs halted any momentum Galle was looking for. Galle did connect in the latter half of the round. They swung away until the final bell.

Round three: Johnson with hooks and jabs. On the inside, Johnson landed uppercuts. The referee wanted to check on Galle’s cut. Johnson forced Galle into the corner, forcing nonstop pressure. Galle caught her for a brief moment.

Round ten: Dubois continued her hook onslaught. Panatta kept on setting herself up for pain by getting hit. Dubois was dancing around the ring. Dubois rightfully got the unanimous decision win.

Round six: Dubois with several counter strikes and a massive body shot. Panatta felt that last body shot. She tried to hold on to avoid major shots. A massive hook dropped Panatta. Dubois is all over her.

Round five: Panatta attempted jabs. She did land a solid body shot. Dubois landed counter jabs and hooks. She connected to the body thanks to an open Panatta. With or without her defense, Panatta could not stop Dubois’ shots from coming.

Round four: Panatta ran into several big shots. Dubois pushed her back with jabs. A counter shot had Panatta going sideways. Panatta tried landing shots within the clinch, but they weren’t as effective as what Dubois was offering.

Round three: Combination hooks fro Dubois connected. As she moved around the ring, Panatta could not counter her offense. Another Dubois hook connected, followed by a body shot. She landed a massive hook by the ropes.

Round ten: Both landed body shots to thunderous applause. An overhand strike by Valle connected. She then landed a hook. Combination hooks connected. What a scrap! Valle won via majority decision.

Round nine: Bustillos with body shots. Valle landed some of her own. She connected with hooks. A nice counter shot was landed on the inside. Valle started to aim for the head.

9:25 p.m. ET: Silva took out Woodley and the crowd went wild. Silva’s still go it. He called out Chris Weidman after while also saying he’s going to be a cop. What a legend. 

9:09 p.m. ET: Big ovation for Tyron Woodley. Massive reaction for Anderson Silva. A lot of MMA fans here in Miami. 

9:08 p.m. ET: Two former UFC champions and Jake Paul opponents fight next, as Anderson Silva faces Tyron Woodley. One of the most intriguing matchups in combat sports. 

9:02 p.m. ET: Jake Paul also didn’t run into Miami traffic. 

8:56 p.m. ET: Anthony Joshua did not run into Miami traffic on the way to the arena. 

8:52 p.m. ET: Harvey used fast hands and effective jabs and uppercuts to earn his second pro win. 

8:25 p.m. ET: Following a delay, the first fight of the night will see Jahmal Harvey vs. Kevin Cervantes.

6:30 p.m. ET: Valle retained her title following a slugfest. She controlled the majority of the fight, but Bustillos made it interesting. What a fight between the two warriors. One judge scored it a draw. That’s boxing for you. 

5:45 p.m. ET: The first title fight of the night is happening now: Yokasta Valle vs. Yadira Bustillos for the WBC strawweight title.

5:25 p.m. ET: Griffin knocked Cardona down by the ropes and continued a relentless assault. He couldn’t continue and the referee waived the fight off. Massive knockout win for Griffin, another win via the power punch. 

5:20 p.m. ET: The next fight will be MVP prospect Avious Griffin vs. Justin Cardona.

5:05 p.m. ET: Marley dropped Davis in the first round. The two-time Olympian from Brazil was too quick for his opponent and would win via unanimous decision.
