Auston Matthews’ new girlfriend, Vanessa Piunno, is showing off her domestic skills after hard launching her romance with the Team USA hockey player earlier this week.
The Toronto-based skincare specialist gave fans a closer look at a homemade meal she whipped up on social media, offering a glimpse into the couple’s life away from the ice.
On Tuesday, March 3, Piunno shared a series of photos via her Instagram Stories revealing what she prepared.
At first, the Toronto-based skincare specialist showed off a bowl of seasoned braised beef being prepared in a large metal bowl. She then shared a photo of the completed meal – sweet potato braised beef gnocchi covered with shredded cheese on top – after it was ready to be served.
A day earlier, Piunno confirmed her romance with Matthews, 28, in a loved up post shared to Instagram.
She captioned the post, “A month to remember forever ❤️❤️.”

Her IG share featured several photos supporting the Toronto Maple Leafs star as he represented Team USA in the 2026 Milano-Cortina Winter Olympics.
In one photo, she rocked an Olympics jacket and sweatpants as she stood with her arms wrapped around the NHL star – who proudly displayed his gold medal around his neck – in Milan. She also included a video of the Team USA hockey captain being presented with his gold medal one the ice alongside his teammates.
Matthews is currently on a four-year deal with the Maple Leafs in Toronto where she works as a certified skincare specialist, meaning distance shouldn’t be an issue for the new romance.
