The Doral Academy Firebirds are ranked No. 20 in the latest edition of the MaxPreps national rankings, and they’ll take on the Bartow Yellow Jackets Friday afternoon in the semifinals of Florida’s FHSAA Class 6A softball championship.
The winner of the Doral Academy-Bartow pairing will then advance to the state finals against the winner Pace Patriots and the Parrish Community Bulls.
First pitch for the game between Doral Academy and Bartow is set for 2:30 p.m. EST local.
