5 details about Travis Scott’s pink Air Jordan 1s you probably missed

By | June 3, 2026

Travis Scott and Jordan Brand are careful and intentional with every detail of their sneaker collaborations. Nothing happens by accident. The Travis Scott x Air Jordan 1 Low “Pink Pack” dropped May 29, sold out immediately, and hit the resale market within hours.

But a handful of details got buried under the hype. The hidden heart on the left tongue tag of the “Shy Pink” is the biggest new thing.

1. There’s a heart embroidered on the left tongue tag only

The left shoe’s Nike tongue tag carries a mini heart embroidery, placed just below the Nike Air branding. Meanwhile, the right shoe has nothing.

This is a very intentional asymmetry. Nike has never officially explained why the heart was added, which only made the sneaker community talk louder.

2. A Cupid-style heart and arrow is printed on both insoles

A Cupid-style heart and arrow appear on the insoles of both pairs. It is only visible when you look inside the shoe, meaning most people will never notice it while wearing them. Along with the tongue tag, this detail shows the romantic theme runs deeper than just the pink colorway.

3. The two pairs are built from completely different materials

They look like a similar set, but they use different materials. The “Tropical Pink” pair features a pink nubuck toe box and midfoot, while the “Shy Pink” version uses a muted off-white muslin base. It is the same silhouette, but the distinct textures are easy to miss in online product shots.

4. This colorway breaks a years-long pattern for Travis Scott

Every major Travis Scott x Jordan 1 Low before this, except the bright yellow “Canary” colorway, leaned heavily on earth tones like mocha, olive, and black. This Pink Pack represents a major shift away from that signature neutral palette.

5. The pack was wiped off the release calendar entirely before coming back

The sneaker community believes this pack was meant for Valentine’s Day. Rumors started in 2024, but Jordan Brand pulled the shoes from the 2025 release calendar. By the time they dropped this special edition on May 29. Scott was spotted wearing both pairs in public during the gap period, which kept anticipation building even as the release date kept shifting.

Both pairs retailed at $155 for adults and $80 for preschool sizes. Ahead of the drop, the “Shy Pink” was already trading at $855 on the resale market in the US. But high supply following the official release brought the market price down to $588.
