How to Successfully Defeat Sharks in Raft
If you’re looking to kill the shark, particularly while underwater, there are a few techniques that you will need to learn in order to attack the shark without taking any damage.
To attack the shark without taking any damage, you’ll want to be swimming towards it and attacking it on the nose as it opens its mouth. As you can imagine, this method is pretty hit and miss until you’ve managed to master the timing.
Alternatively, you can kill sharks in a much slower but easier process that some might find rather tedious. As we explained in our Tips and Tricks section above, sharks can smell players from up to 30 meters away, so you’ll want to work on bringing the shark towards the raft by jumping in and out of the water.
Once it’s close enough to the raft, you will want to continue jumping in and out of the water. Just as the shark is about to attack you, jump back onto the raft and quickly attempt to attack the shark with either your Spear or Machete.
Here’s a complete breakdown of how many hits each major weapon will need to do to kill the shark.
