According to the report, the upcoming sequel to the 2007 film will see Amy Adams’ Giselle, her Prince Charming Robert, and Robert’s daughter Morgan move to the suburbs, with a character known as Malvina Monroe acting as the main villain of the film. The story for the sequel is that after wishing for their lives to be a perfect fairytale, things go poorly for Giselle, and she and her family must rush to save themselves and the Kingdom of Andalsia before the end of the day.
Fans already knew to expect Amy Adams back in the role of Giselle, but The DisInsider reports that Patrick Dempsey, James Marsden and Idina Menzel will also be reprising their roles as Robert, Prince Edward and Nancy Tremaine, respectively. While the character Morgan will also be returning from the first film, it’s said that a new actress will play her since Rachel Covey has aged out of the role. Most notably, the report mentions that Snow White’s seven dwarfs will be making an appearance in the film and will reportedly have their own musical number as well.
