UPDATE: Canelo vs. Saunders live updates, results, highlights from full card

Canelo Alvarez and Billy Joe Saunders are going to put the “super” in super middleweight this weekend.

After some years of speculation and waiting for a fight window to open up, Alvarez and Saunders are scheduled to meet in the ring this Saturday night in Texas in a super-middleweight unification bout.

As they say, everything is bigger in the Lone Star State, and fights in 2021 don’t come much bigger than this one — both in consequences and eyeballs. The fight is expected to break the indoor boxing attendance record with over 65,000 tickets sold, surpassing the record set by Muhammad Ali vs. Leon Spinks 2 in the Mercedes-Benz Superdome in 1978.
