Cardi B’s “Up” is the official SummerSlam theme song. It was already noted that Cardi’s involvement with SummerSlam will go beyond that. Now we know what the company’s plan is for the famous rapper at the big August 21st event.
Andrew Zarian, who has nailed a ton of WWE news in recent memory, posted to inform fans about WWE’s plan for Cardi B. Apparently, Cardi will be on hand at SummerSlam to play the role of host.
I can confirm that I was told cardi b is the host for SummerSlam this year.
A host usually just comes out to address the live crowd once, maybe twice. Cardi B’s involvement could be unique. We’ll have to see what they have planned.
WWE had Hulk Hogan and Titus O’Neil host WrestleMania this year. That did not turn out very well, because Hogan was booed out of the building. We can’t wait to see the WWE’s reaction to Cardi B coming out to address the fans, no matter which city the company lands on.
