The Jets couldn’t keep up with the Colts’ six touchdowns on “Thursday Night Football.” The Jets (2-6) attempted to make a comeback in the second half with three back-to-back touchdowns, but they still lost 45-30. The final score also resulted in the 1,069th unique final score in NFL history, also known as a scorigami.
The Colts (4-5) scored on every possession in the game except three. All of their scoring possessions but one resulted in a touchdown. The Colts finished the game with the most rushing yards completed by any NFL team this season with 260 yards. Additionally, they had 272 receiving yards.
Colts quarterback Carson Wentz finished the game with a 138.9 rating. He completed 22 out of 30 passes for 272 passing yards and three touchdown passes. Colts running back Jonathan Taylor had his best game of the season finishing with 172 rushing yards and two rushing touchdowns.

Jets quarterback Mike White entered the game as the passing yard leader from Week 8 when he threw 405 yards in their 34-31 win over the Bengals. However, after the Jets’ touchdown in the first quarter, White stood on the sidelines for the remainder of the game after suffering a forearm injury. The details of his injury have not been released. Josh Johnson came in to replace White, and he finished the game with 241 passing yards and three touchdown passes.

The Jets overall had 472 receiving yards. Rookie wide receiver Elijah Moore scored his first two NFL touchdowns and led the Jets with 84 receiving yards.
