SPAWN brought 2022 to a close in a historic way, seeing the character appear 75+ crossover covers across both Image and DC comics.
The 75+ covers featuring SPAWN (not including his own titles) mark a historic event for the character, marking the most consecutive crossover covers in a 1 month span.
SPAWN continued to prove its popularity with fans, having several crossover covers sell out immediately and getting rushed back for reprints.
The crossovers event comes in celebration of Spawn’s 30th Anniversary and highlights Spawn with Image and DC’s most iconic characters.
The Image and extended DCU variant covers released in the same month as the highly-anticipated BATMAN/SPAWN crossover comic.
BATMAN/SPAWN #1 saw McFarlane reunite with longtime SPAWN and BATMAN artist Greg Capullo, and marks the first time the characters have met since 1994.
This variant cover event closes out another successful year for SPAWN and lets fans see the Hellspawn team up with some of their other favorite characters.
SPAWN and McFarlane show no signs of stopping in 2023 with more exciting events ahead!
