Bryan Cranston, Jeffrey Wright & More Added to Wes Anderson’s Latest Film

The all-star cast of Wes Anderson’s next project continues to grow.

According to THR, the currently untitled film has added acclaimed actor Bryan Cranston (Breaking Bad), Hope Davis (Your Honor), Jeffrey Wright (Monster), and Liev Schreiber (Ray Donovan) to its cast. The film is currently shooting in Spain. Wright and Schreiber both appear in Anderson’s The French Dispatch, while Cranston did a voice in Isle of Dogs. It’s the first Anderson film for Davis.

Scarlett Johansson Latest Star to Join Wes Anderson’s Next Film

The quartet of actors will be joining the previously announced Tom Hanks, Adrien Brody, Margot Robbie, Billy Murray, Jason Schwartzman, Scarlett Johansson, Rupert Friend, and Tilda Swinton in the movie written and directed by Anderson. Plot and character details are currently being kept under wraps.

Meanwhile, Anderson’s highly-anticipated dramedy romance The French Dispatch will finally release on October 22, 2021, following its Cannes Film Festival debut. Brody, Murray, Swinton along with Frances McDormand, Benicio Del Toro, Timothée Chalamet, Owen Wilson, Willem Dafoe, Edward Norton, Saoirse Ronan, Elisabeth Moss, Liev Schreiber, and many more star in the film.

The French Dispatch is described as a love letter to journalists set in an outpost of an American newspaper in a fictional 20th-century French city centering on three storylines that bring to life a collection of stories published in “The French Dispatch” magazine.
