THQ Nordic wasn’t shy about the inevitability of another Destroy All Humans! remake and now it appears as though those plans have been made somewhat more official. This remake of Destroy All Humans! 2 is called Destroy All Humans! Reprobed and is coming to PlayStation 5. It’s also probably making its way to the Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and PC, but those versions were not specifically listed yet. A PS4 port was also listed in the trailer in the fine print. No release window was given.
Those other platforms have not been confirmed since the official PlayStation Twitter account announced the game. However, it appears as though it was a premature announcement as neither THQ Nordic nor Xbox had any of this information on their social channels or YouTube pages. PlayStation also pulled the tweet shortly after. A screen cap can be seen in the above picture.

Much like the remake of the first game, Reprobed‘s trailer showed off familiar mechanics and weapons from the 2006 original. It included Russian agents, the physics-based Dislocator gun, improved Body Snatching ability, and the San Francisco-inspired Bay City setting, all with a modern sheen. THQ Nordic will likely officially reveal the game soon and give more details on what this remake is updating and adding.

This remake has been a long time coming. Developer Black Forest Games gave a cheeky statement to IGN after a trailer in February hinted at the remake’s existence before going silent for months.
