Dhanush‘s highly anticipated movie, Captain Miller, hit the theaters this week and is already winning hearts. Arun Matheswaran directed the movie, and Sathya Jyothi Films produced it. Captain Miller also stars Shiva Rajkumar, Priyanka Mohan, Aditi Balan, Sundeep Kishan, Edward Sonnenblick, and John Kokken in supporting roles. The movie revolves around a former British soldier who is on a mission to protect his people from the British after witnessing an atrocity.
Recent reports have disclosed the details of the actors’ fees for starring in the Tamil action movie.

Captain Miller Cast: Dhanush, Shiva Rajkumar, Sundeep Kishan, and Priyanka Mohan fees revealed
As per reports, lead actor Dhanush, who embodies the role of Captain Miller, charged an impressive amount of $1.8 million (approx.). This puts him among Tamil cinema’s highest-paid actors. Previously, the actor had reportedly charged $1.4 million (approx.) for Thiruchitrambalam (2022). Dhanush’s global popularity is the main reason behind his increasing fees.
On the other hand, rumors suggest that actor Shiva Rajkumar earned approximately $361 thousand for his role in the movie. Sundeep Kishan, who plays a significant role in Captain Miller, reportedly charged a fee ranging between $361 thousand and $481 thousand (approx.). Priyanka Mohan, who portrays the female lead, reportedly charged $120 thousand for her role in the movie.
Apart from the cast fees, massive financial support from the producers backed Captain Miller. The movie reportedly had a budget of $6 million. Sendhil Thyagarajan and Arjun Thyagarajan produced the movie. Along with this, the movie had a pan-India release, which will cater to audiences across diverse linguistic regions.
Captain Miller was originally slated for a release in December 2023, but the makers postponed it to January 12, 2024, aligning with Pongal week. The movie is available to watch in both IMAX and 2D formats.
