Ubisoft’s E3 event is in full swing and, as expected, more details about the season pass for the forthcoming Far Cry 6 have been confirmed.
In a two-minute trailer, the company showed that players who own the season pass will be able to delve into the backstories of some of the franchise’s most nefarious villains. Vaas Montenegro, Pagam Min, and Joseph Seed will all become playable and will all be given life by their original voice actors.

Ubisoft says that players will have to battle the inner demons of the villains in a “new gameplay experience in which you will have to die…and retry” with the ultimate goal being to escape the mind of a villain.
If that doesn’t float your boat, the company also confirmed that what is inarguably the best game in the series – Far Cry 3: Blood Dragon – will be making a return for those who own the season pass. Whether or not this re-release will be made available to those who don’t partake in Far Cry 6 has yet to be confirmed.

The good news is that the season pass is bundled with the Gold, Ultimate, and Collector’s Editions of the game, and will also be available separately if you decide to pick it up later. Far Cry 6 will release on October 7 for Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, PC, and all five Google Stadia owners will be able to join the fun as well.
Additionally, a new cinematic trailer for the core game was released, which you can see below:
