Universal Orlando Resort and Universal Studios Hollywood have announced more Haunted Houses that will be at Halloween Horror Nights 2023. The festivities begin at Universal Orlando Resort on Friday, September 1 and on Thursday, September 7 at Universal Studios Hollywood, with tickets being available for purchase now.

What new haunted houses were announced for Halloween Horror Nights 2023?

The newly announced haunted houses are called The Exorcist: Believer, Chucky: Ultimate Kill Count, and Universal Monsters: Unmasked.

The Exorcist: Believer is based on the upcoming sequel to 1973’s The Exorcist. Set in Haiti, the haunted house has visitors encounter sinister spirits and demonic portals, putting them “at risk of losing their souls.”

Chucky: Ultimate Kill Count is based on the hit USA and SYFY series as well as the iconic Chucky films. Tired of not being taken seriously by his peers, Chucky seeks to turn the haunted house into “a living slaughterhouse,” as he tries to kill every visitor. While a Chucky-themed house was teased before, we now have all the details on the attraction.

Finally, Universal Monsters: Unmasked takes place in the Catacombs of Paris, filled with skeletons, remains, and and dark secrets. Iconic characters like The Phantom of the Opera, The Hunchback of Notre Dame, Dr. Jekyll/Mr. Hyde, and The Invisible Man hunt down visitors through the haunting and twisted tunnels.

These three themed houses join previously announced ones based on franchises like The Last of Us.
