Born on October 28, 1997, Fritz hails from Rancho Santa Fe, California. His parents, Guy Henry Fritz and Kathy May, are former tennis players. Fritz’s grandfather, David May, is a well-known business tycoon and founder of the May Stores. Currently, the tennis player is in a relationship with popular influencer Morgan Riddle. He was previously married to former WTA ranked player Raquel Pedraza with whom he shares a son named Jordan.

Taylor Fritz’s career history

At the age of 2, Fritz started showing a keen interest in Tennis and decided to follow in his parents’ footsteps. In 2015, Fritz started his career by playing in an ATP tournament in Nottingham. He went on to win the junior US Open and also made it to the finals of the French Open. That same year, he earned the title of the ITF Junior World Champion and even reached the top 250. Further, Fritz managed to reach the top 100 in the ATP after making it to the Australian Open main draw. Additionally, he reached the finals of the ATP 250 in 2017, becoming the youngest player after Michael Chang in 1988

That same year, he won his first match in a major and knocked out Marcos Baghdatis in the US Open. Following 2017, he made it to the top 50 and quarterfinal of the Indian Wells. In 2019, afritz gained his first ATP title and a ranking of 32.
