As its debut approaches, new original characters are being introduced to the movie My Hero Academia: World Heroes’ Mission. This time around, we get the first look at Roddy Soul’s little sidekick, Pino.
Brought to life by My Hero Academia creator Kohei Horikoshi, Pino is a little pink bird who is the sidekick of the recently revealed Roddy Soul. Voicing the brand new character will be Megumi Hayashibara, who is known for their work on the incredibly popular and influential anime Neon Genesis Evangelion.

Hayashibara commented on the official My Hero Academia website (via Funimation) saying, “It’s been a while since I’ve been cast for my face,” and “I started watching the series from season one… I’ve already found my favorite character, but they’re all cute.”
As seen in the picture below, the little sidekick is seen perched on Roddy Soul. Mostly covered in pink feathers, there are also accents of purple and yellow. Pino is also sporting a tiny blue mask.
