Deadline has reported that David Leitch is being eyed to direct the latest movie in the Jurassic World franchise. Though the new movie and its writer were just announced last month, a separate article from the outlet also reported the film’s release date, which is currently set for Wednesday, July 2, 2025 — around a year and a half away from now.
Projects that Leitch had previously directed include John Wick (which he co-directed with Chad Stahelski), Atomic Blonde, Deadpool 2, Fast & Furious Presents: Hobbs & Shaw, and Bullet Train.
