By | March 21, 2024

The popular thriller K-drama Pyramid Game has come to an end. The finale of the series aired on TVING on Thursday, March 21, 2024. The preceding episode ended on a striking note when Sung Soo-Ji (Bona) and Myung Ja-Eun (Ryu Da-In) arrived at a building where Baek Ha-Rin (Jang Da-A) was waiting for them. She told them that she was also a victim of school violence. At that moment, Myung Ja-Eun claimed that she was behind the school violence against Baek Ha-Rin.

In Pyramid Game Episode 10 (Finale), viewers see what happened to Baek Ha-Rin when she was in elementary school. It also shows the entire school board and faculty and even reveals the school’s name, which changed following the public disclosure of school violence and corruption. However, the biggest highlight of the finale episode is Baek Ha-Rin paying for her bullying and criminal actions.

Pyramid Game Ending: Does Jang Da-A pay for her crimes?

The finale episode of Pyramid Game starts right where episode 9 ends. Myung Ja-Eun (Ryu Da-In) confesses what she did to Baek Ha-Rin (Jang Da-A) when they were in elementary school. The episode reveals that Baek Ha-Rin had a different name at that time, and she was an orphan. Some other girls at their elementary school did not like Baek Ha-Rin, and Myung Ja-Eun revealed to them that Baek Ha-Rin was an orphan. Her intention behind it was not wrong, as she wanted the other girls to sympathize with her and not talk badly about her.

However, after learning about her background, the other girls started bullying Baek Ha-Rin. Myung Ja-Eun did not help her at that point in time and became a bystander. A powerful family who owned Baekyeon Girls’ High School later adopted Baek Ha-Rin. In the school, she met Myung Ja-Eun again as a teenager after all those years. Through their interaction, Baek Ha-Rin realized that Myung Ja-Eun had forgotten all about the bullying. She then decided to take revenge and make Myung Ja-Eun’s life miserable by constantly bullying her and wanted to keep her in Grade F in the “pyramid game” forever.

In the present, after hearing everything, Sung Soo-Ji (Bona) realizes that Baek Ha-Rin is a real bully who has been using Myung Ja-Eun as an excuse not to feel guilt for her wrongdoings. She clearly points it out to Baek Ha-Rin and does not show any kind of sympathy towards her. After that, in episode 10 of Pyramid Game (Finale), Baek Ha-Rin puts fire in the place where the three of them are standing. It was the same orphanage where Baek Ha-Rin used to live before getting adopted.

Baek Ha-Rin (Jang Da-A) is admitted to a psychiatric hospital at the end of the finale

Later on, the Pyramid Game finale episode shows the fire department rescuing Sung Soo-Ji (Bona), Myung Ja-Eun (Ryu Da-In), and Baek Ha-Rin (Jang Da-A) from the building. After that, different online articles and fabricated statements from Baekyeon Girls’ High School’s teachers started trying to project Sung Soo-Ji and Myung Ja-Eun as the culprits. They were desperately trying to pin everything against both of them. However, a video recorded by another school teacher helps them get rid of all the accusations. The video shows some of the girls brutally roughing up Sung Soo-Ji.

With the help of the former teacher of Baekyeon Girls’ High School, Yoon Na-Hee, authorities find all the evidence of corruption against the school faculty and board. After being highly defamed, authorities reformed the entire school. They also change the entire faculty. They even changed the name of the school.

Meanwhile, Baek Ha-Rin’s adoptive parents disclose in front of the media that Baek Ha-Rin is not their birth child; she was adopted and she has some psychological issues. They then also go on to announce that they have proceeded with the adoption dissolution. Then, the finale episode of Pyramid Game shows the admission of Baek Ha-Rin to the psychiatric hospital, which appears quite ordinary. It looks like a new, rough lifestyle awaits her. Thus, Baek Ha-Rin pays for all her crimes. The school also expelled the other students who had taken part in the bullying.

At the end of Pyramid Game Episode 10 (Finale), viewers witness Sung Soo-Ji and Myung Ja-Eun entering their school building after a few months with their other friends. The school building has a new name now. Then, the episode shows two new twin sisters whose family has a powerful position in the school. They think that the “pyramid game” is fun. The finale episode ends with the twins entering Sung Soo-Ji’s classroom and Sung Soo-Ji introducing herself to them.

Audiences can watch the much-awaited Pyramid Game Episode 10 (Finale) on TVING.
