Roger Stone is an American conservative political consultant and lobbyist best known for working alongside former U.S. president Donald Trump. Last year, Wingman Media released a documentary titled A Storm Foretold, that showcased his life. In addition, A Storm Foretold also sheds light on the January 6 United States Capitol attack and the MAGA movement.

Directed by Christoffer Guldbrandsen, this 91-minute documentary was well-received by viewers and critics. However, the Guardian recently reported that Guldbrandsen met with a terrifying health scare during its filming. He suffered from a heart attack, lost consciousness, and collapsed on a gym floor. Furthermore, a CCTV camera recorded this entire ordeal. People rushed to help the director and he was ultimately saved by a person working out in the same gym.

In a recent Zoom interview, Guldbrandsen stated that the aforementioned incident happened because of stress. He said (via The Guardian), “It was because of the stress of this project. When we came back and Roger had cut us off. Our funding was cut off as well and that was a catastrophe.”

He further stated, “When I’m walking around in the gym and have a heart attack. I have headphones on because I’m on the phone trying to raise funds for the film. When I have the heart attack, I literally drop the phone while I’m talking with an American financier.”

Roger Stone Documentary: Who saved Christoffer Guldbrandsen after he suffered a heart attack?

According to the Guardian, a heart surgeon who was working out in the same gym saved Christoffer Guldbrandsen’s life. In the Zoom interview, the Danish filmmaker explained that he was very fortunate. He further explained that he was still in disbelief that something like that had happened to him at the age of 49.

Guldbrandsen stated, “It was very unpleasant but I was very fortunate that there was actually a heart surgeon working out in the gym next to me that saved my life.”

He further stated, “When you’re not that old, and you have never been sick, it takes a while just to get your head around that. It’s a tremendous stroke of luck that your life didn’t end that day. And I’m still struggling to understand that was the time I had. And it was only by a slim margin that I’m still here.”

The aforementioned media outlet also reported, that Roger Stone, revealed that Donald Trump was a fan of the film, Sunset Boulevard. However, he did not allow Guldbrandsen to record his interactions with the former president. Furthermore, cracks were already visible in the duo’s relationship.

Guldbrandsen stated, “When the camera wasn’t rolling, right from the outset, he would refer to President Trump as ‘Mr Ungrateful’, referring to all that Stone had done for him to get to the White House.”

He further stated, “Stone sees himself as an avid reader, an analytical mind and well-versed in American political history and Trump basically as illiterate, although intuitively a very strong politician. He definitely does not hold him in awe.”

Born on August 27, 1952, to Gloria Rose and Roger J. Stone, Roger Stone’s political career began in the early 1970s. His ex’s wife’s name is Anne Wesche and his current wife’s name is Nydia Bertran.
