The Universal Classic Monsters 4K collection that was due to be released this month has been delayed by four months. It’s been caused by a problem with the packaging.

When Will the Universal Classic Monsters 4K Collection be Released?

The Universal Classic Monsters 4K collection will now be released on February 13, 2024. So while you can’t have the monsters in 4K for Halloween, you can make it a Valentine’s gift.

It had been due to release today, October 3, 2023. A statement was put out to address the delay.

”Due to an unexpected packaging issue, the originally planned October 3, 2023, release of Universal Pictures Home Entertainment’s upcoming 4K collectible box set of the Universal Classic Monsters Limited Edition Collection is moving to February 13, 2024. We appreciate your patience and are very sorry for the inconvenience.”

The collection includes the following classic Universal monster movies and a host of extras for each.

  • Dracula (1931)
  • Frankenstein (1932)
