Curious about how Upload wrapped up its story on Prime Video? In Season 4, fans were eager to see if Nathan and Nora would get a happy ending. Others wondered whether Ingrid would find her place in Nathan’s world. The finale delivered shocking twists, emotional goodbyes, and surprising reunions. It gave closure to the characters while leaving viewers with plenty to reflect on.
Here’s a breakdown of where Nathan, Nora, and Ingrid end up in Upload Season 4.

Do Nathan and Nora end up together on Upload Season 4?
Nathan’s story in Upload Season 4 ends with his physical death.
As his body fails, he chooses not to undergo another download or upload and dies naturally. Before his passing, Nathan and Nora exchanged vows in a virtual reality wedding ceremony. In the final scenes, Nora, still wearing her wedding ring, declines a coffee date with a stranger, and her iPad pings with stored memories of Nathan that are now available to download.
Robbie Amell told Us Weekly, “The show starts with Nathan being a little egotistical and selfish… then the audience and Nathan find out at the same time that he’s maybe not as great a guy as he thought he was.” He added, “And this is a guy who would have done anything to save himself in season 1, and in season 4, the thing that matters to him is the happiness of the person he loves.”
Andy Allo said she would have “loved” a happy ending for Nora but called it a “beautiful arc,” explaining, “I don’t want to upload you again… I’m OK with you dying for real.”
Do Nathan and Ingrid end up together on Upload Season 4?
While “real” Nathan dies, his clone, created before his emotional growth, survives.
This version of Nathan marries Ingrid. The finale shows them living in a beach house and starring in a reality show. Andy Allo said, “She has to move on, and then she gets her version of Nathan, who is all about her.”
Amell added that Greg Daniels chose the ending that felt “true to the story.” He explained it gave “everybody gets their moments, whether they’re sad moments or happy moments or triumphant moments.”
