The Freaknik Hulu release date is no doubt anticipated by fans of the streaming service’s documentary content. Having bolstered its arsenal of documentaries in recent years, it’s easy to understand why fans are waiting for more accounts of important historical events.
When is Freaknik: The Wildest Party Never Told coming out on Hulu?
Freaknik: The Wildest Party Never Told is anticipated for April 23, 2024.
According to Variety, the new Freaknik documentary coming to Hulu will launch 40 years after the event that took place on April 23, 2024. Citing Hulu’s official description of the show, Variety writes: “Can the magic of Freaknik be brought back 40 years later?”
40 years after the April 23, 1994 date would see the documentary launching on April 23, 2024. This date is a Tuesday, so it certainly seems possible.
With that said, some are expecting a 2023 release, which suggests that the “40 years later” in the show’s description is simply a matter of rounding up. This is certainly possible, though no official release date has been confirmed yet.
At the time of writing, very little is known about the Freaknik Hulu documentary, with one of the biggest secrets being the release date. It could release in 2023 or 2024. I’m leaning towards 2024, especially with how tidily it would line up with the event’s 40th anniversary. However, that date is quite a long way off, and Hulu may be looking to push out the documentary earlier.
This post will be updated with more information, whether official or leaked, as and when it becomes available. While Variety has an exclusive report offering snippets of information about the upcoming show, an official reveal would objectively be better.
For now, Hulu subscribers should be readying themselves for Catherine The Great season 3 and The Bear season 2.
