Borderlands developer Gearbox has finally officially revealed its next game, Wonderlands. This is a high-fantasy take on a looter shooter and has a star studded cast with Andy Samberg, Wanda Sykes, Will Arnett, and Ashly Burch listed in the announcement trailer. The game is coming in early 2022 for an unconfirmed batch of platforms (but presumably will be on PS4, PS5, Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One, and PC).
Burch also joined Geoff Keighley to talk a bit about the game and said it was it was “its own standalone game” and Borderlands fans will “find lots of elements to love.” There’s spellcasting and character customization. Tiny Tina is the DM or bunkermaster and will take players on an adventure to kill the Dragon Lord. Burch also promised more information coming later this summer.
